Dumb question perhaps but do the fans spin up and the LEDs come on?
Yeah. Updated this post with that info earlier. Right at the end, so easily missed. On a brighter note, I finally found a use for my PS4 Pro. But I already miss PC gaming.. gna need to sort this out soon.Dumb question perhaps but do the fans spin up and the LEDs come on?

Unless it's grouped under "everything is fine" I still don't see it.
By the way you mention re-installing drivers, is that just a simple clean install request through the Nvidia Installer itself or did you run DDU in safe mode? Maybe you should be treating this as a new install rather than a move.
Also that error, other installations are running. Make sure to not be connected to the net after removing your driver and reinstalling it. Only once the installation is done and successful can you re-connect to the net. You don't want Windows Update interfering with your driver install.
My update was made at the bottom of post with the photos.
Pretty sure this is a hardware issue. Could be the gpu as I need to rma it but wanted to give it a final test in my new setup. My soul is destroyed. Not doing anything else (for now) other than testing the gpu in another rig.
Thanks fixedOh! You said PSU instead of GPU hence I dismissed it and moved on.
Did thatpull your mobo battery out, reset your bois

Did you test it in another machine?Did that
Ok so I tested my GPU in a buddy's PC and it is detected there. We then removed my CPU cooler to check the if the CPU pins on the mobo are ok. Everything seems fine, we even checked the pins under a magnifying glass. Refitted the cooler, re-seated the GPU, booted up on my rig... and GPU still not detected.
Would you guys say it's safe to assume there is a possible issue with the mobo? I can't think of anything else. I bought everything from Wootware earlier this year, the stuff is all only a few months young: Mobo, CPU and GPU.
Thank goodness for happy endings
