@pgouws if you look at the pump in the link he sent it is the round shape that is needed for the g12. So in theory it will work. If he says it did then I'm sure it did

I did go and look yes, also got some videos on youtube regarding this.

Yep. Normal asetek head. Don’t know why it isn’t listed on the compatibility list. Thus the confusion...

When I saw the bottom of the cooler i realised its exactly the same as all the other corsair versions. Ditto, doesnt make sense why they dont include it as part of compatible list. Best choice i ever made with my 1080. Does not move a unit over 42 degrees in stress tests. Glws

Apparently the included fan is enough to cool the vrm and vram. But if you want to add heatsinks... something like this(below link) could work.
