Lately I can’t start my pc with my gpu plugged in. The monitor displays nothing. If I look under device manager is shows this. I did reinstall my drivers. Any suggestions this is highly annoying...

and did you disable the Intel HD?

take it you have on-board?

when you switch your cable to the on-board, does it then show?

you mention "lately"? did you change anything?

I’ve gotten it to work before in the past without disabling anything. If i disable the intel hd won’t that prevent me from viewing anything?

I would try the above suggestion otherwise if you on Windows 10 you can maybe just do a "reset".

maybe check in your BIOS that it doesn't somehow default to your on-board, which is why I suggested plugging it into your on-board while it is running and you see nothing

not sure why it would as you say "lately", assuming then it worked fine previously

These guys say:

You could also try:
Uninstall the GFX drivers... properly:
Then install a newly downloaded driver.

If that don't work...
Go into the bios and write down your SATA/RAID settings... then reset the BIOS, and return the SATA settings to what it was... and see what Windows does.

Goodluck!

Are you leaving something plugged into it or have you added other hardware recently?

Back in the day DMA and IRQ channels could be changed if you needed more capability, so as per above reset bios, or disable unnecessary stuff in the BIOS, COM ports etc to free up what might be taking up what you need.
