I couldn't find a thread for this. Is anyone looking forward to Breakpoint? Wildlands wasn't perfect but we had fun in co-op.

Ghost Recon - Now with less Ghost Recon.

Survival elements do not belong in a Clancy game.

Redeem your beta key for Ghost Recon Breakpoint’s closed beta

Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint closed beta starts tomorrow
The closed beta for Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint is playable starting September 5, 2019 at 3 AM PT.

Who else got there Beta Key Invite from AMD ?

the joy of not having LTE me has a beta key FFS , golf estate living better come fast !

I actually enjoyed this game, far more than I expected. Also the graphics are pretty lit, but what amazed me even more was the realism to the game. Like basic stuff normal physics stuff incorporated into the game.

Here is two screenshots I took while jamming it. I've seen probably like not even 10% of the map, it's HUGE.

I must say Breakpoint beats Wildlands hands down on graphics, spent so much time running around just looking at stuff xD
Good fun so far.

On my 1080 is doing mid 50's on Ultimate settings, going to test my 1080 Ti later and see what it does.
I can confirm, I had to lower my settings in the game since I stream from my 1080 as well. But I was able to play on High settings while streaming getting 60fps.

I like the game, will probably pre-order it. It feels a bit more difficult and paranoid than Wildlands. For one, those drones scanning for you, had my panicking at some stages.

One thing, the game looks a bit, washed out or “fuzzy”. Its as if the world isnt as “crisp” as it was in Wildlands.

Aiming when going first person view, feels awkward, I was thinking later after playing, perhaps I need to change my FOV. Yet, in other games, Wildlands, Div 1 and 2, I dont have this problem.

The hub, in The Division it feels kind of natural, I mean you are in a city fighting without ppl so its kind of logical that you will run into other players, but in Breakpoint, it feels weird being in combat alone and the next moment, you have lots of players with you in the hub. Breaks the immersion a bit for me.

Last thing, I miss my team mates from Wildlands.
Stability and performance wise, had no issues. Was running at 2560 x 1440 with most settings at ultra (settings @ 0:10 seconds in below video)

Hence it was the beta trial on offer game does look more polished yet I wonder if the A.I is up to scratch onnce the final product is released always been a fan of ghost recon from the earlier versions lets see how this pans out thanks for the video quite amazing

I enjoyed the beta, though playing alone was more fun than with a random group. Would be better with a likeminded group of people.
Had 2x random crashes but the game itself was smooth.

No pre-order for me and not likely to buy on release.
Definitely buy later down the line when on special, but in no hurry.
Most friends I play with agree with me and will be doing the same.

Hi all,

So! Those who get the game and are looking for people to play with, come pop in to Babbelbekkie Discord Join the Babbelbekkie Discord Server!

We have about 20 people who are playing it currently (on PC) and are looking to team up etc and play the various aspects of the game.
Been on the ropes about getting this. Got COD MW so looking forward to that but Breakpoint was alot of fun for PVP during beta for me.

Are there local servers and how are you finding the pvp post launch?

Look, the PVP with randoms etc is harsh and unforgiving - it's like everyone is professional snipers - it's rather boring after a while.

However, what 'we' have done on Babbelbekkie, the "ghosts" that are there - we play PVP in custom games against each other and we make our own rules, like no snipers, depending how many there are, we play 2 v 2 or 3 v 3 or 4 v 4 but it's always so much fun.

So how are you guys finding the PvP now? I see its on black friday discount so considering getting it.

@Dron3 I have not touched PVP in a while - we been so busy doing the 'daily' "green" missions to get all the exclusive items (for the battle tiers) on the hardest difficulty.

Lol not too sure what that is. Is it fun though and has the game changed much since launch?

Yes, alot of improvements - has bugs here and there but what game doesn't - we can have a entire session of 4/5 hours and not run into any problems, then another day, we will have weird issues happening but nothing a reboot / reload doesn't fix.

This game is def about TEAM WORK and especially great when you realise that, not 1 player can dominate in a team (like Division 2)
