So I got hold of this Titan X here on Carb after a chap had issues with it artifacting on driver load/usage. I've since cleaned it in its entirety, oven baked it, reapplied thermal paste, and put humpty dumpty back together again. Because I was curious, I also flashed the bios with a higher end version, so instead of boosting to 1197mhz on the clock like it did before the flash, it now boosts to 1395mhz. Then for even more shits and giggles, I strapped on a G12 bracket and my H110, and it purrs like a kitten at 47 degrees celsius after an hour load. From my tests in 3Dmarks, the card is running at about 97-98% stability, comfortably performing above 1070s but slightly below most 1070 Tis
I dont have the time right now to mess around with its overclocking potential, so instead, I'm putting out a feeler to see if anyone wants me to pass on the torch.
At a fee, I can also include an H90 cooler (which in my experience is definitely among the best coolers) as well as a G12 bracket (have one brand new one, and one used). For interested parties, I highly recommend adding this, as the blower cards can get quite loud and hot
