Out of sheer curiosity, what are you using now?

Hi. Going to post it down to Iceman tomorrow. Today I am using my Apple Watch. To be honest I am one of those infuriatingly useless people that just goes to gym or a park run while fiddling with their watch to score their Discovery Vitality points. Because of the Apple Watch benefit as long as I hit my points goals every week I don't pay an installment and it gives me a reason to exercise regularly for the next two years.

But to be realistic for a moment, I do derive some value in (1) being able to see my stats improve over time and (2) just spending 90-120 mins exercising and logging it every week is a MASSIVE step for someone who was sedentary and smoked heavily for the past twenty years. (next month will be two years from having stopped smoking)

Okay end of life story!

Hey all. Just an update to this thread. After replacing the batteries on the watch, foot pod and chest strap I was having trouble getting the chest strap to pair to the watch again. The foot pod paired perfectly.

In attempt to check the antenna / plate at the back of the watch I managed to (literally the night before I was going to ship it) break the strap and it isn't a regular watch strap so I think I've just effectively trashed the watch for Iceman, wasted R100+ worth of CR2032 batteries and ruined a PIF.

#$#@. Thought I'd let y'all know in full transparency as this is hardly a positive deed now.
