Im looking for Gaming Adsl Router. I know might not make diffrence but wanna try anyway, preferrable with Killer networking..

My latency on Pubg is 200MS on 10MB Line also 200 on 4MB wich does not make sense but both OEM telkom Routers.

Get a Mikrotic, use the modem to do the PPPOE, then setup QOS & static routes on the Mikrotik.

Actually it does make sense considering that latency is (mostly) dependent on distance

Thanks... will give that try

Isn't latency also slightly speed dependent?

There is no lag in Gaming the bullets hit instantly if its get fired maybe its the cheating on pubg but ill sometimes shoot a guy 3 times in face with Shotgun and still get killed.. lol

Not all. Your latency is dependent on the network your on. Some ISP`s will have slightly lower latency that others but 200ms for PUBG is not bad all. Spending the extra wont make a big difference to be honest.

I have had at my previous residence, 4mb then 20MB then 40MB VDSL line, and the only difference in latency was ISP based, and it was marginal. never went under 200ms.

Is this gaming router going to magically move you to a different continent for that session?

Guys ffs. Stop being daft! It all has to do with the RGB

So i just have to play better lol

Try a bunch of different ISP's with different backbones and see which one gives you better latency.
ie
Afrihost gives me a 20ms improvement over VOX. Telkom a 10ms improvement over Afrihost.

to bad i stay in such small town we only recently got Adsl LOL

I have 100/100 Mb Fibre at home and get 180-200ms ping on PUBG, at work i have 1000/1000Mb and i still get the same.
It have nothing to do with your router or provider.

Its physically impossible to get a lower latency when traffic has to get to Europe.
Ping 8.8.8.8 if you getting between 2-50ms its fine, a router wont make a difference .

Try 1.1.1.1 as your routers DNS (make sure to flush PC DNS start>run>CMD>ipconfig /flushdns {press enter and reboot).

My Current ping to Europe servers on a Asus DSL-AC52U Router
10 Mbps Line

All depends on who your isp peers with. Web africa uses wacs as primary bgp prepend and seacom...well its seacom. Id say go with whatever isp has less hops to breakout to. But big big big yes to those who said mikrotik.

That's just PUBG and it's shitty netcode.

I came to realise PUBG is poorly coded when I played Rainbow Six Siege. In that game, 250 - 300ms ping and you still feel like when you see a guy you are willing him. Although, it is more realistic in that it takes 5 bullets to body with armor to kill and headshot is instant kill.

Mind you, overwatch is better with handling ping and shots that it isn't noticeable, I only seem to see ping affecting my games in PUBG where you shoot thousands of bullets into a guy and yet on replays maybe two hit. Poorly coded game, I'm waiting for Battlefield 5 now, will be a worthy buy if the BR, Multiplayer and Campaign are all worth it.
