Yeah I've heard so. Thing is I did buy a Galax 1070 EXOC SNPR from leetpro that was mined with but it had noticeable coil whine so i returned it. I then found a Galax 1080 EXOC SNPR from ALSI_TRADER which was also mined with and also had noticeable coil whine so I returned that too. Found a 3rd Galax EXOC SNPR card from mugabe (yes that's his username) so I asked if i could test it for coil whine first but he declined so here I am still looking for that damn gpu : (

Nope, my experience and googling said it's the case with all the gp104 versions of the 10 series cards: 1070, 1070ti and 1080. Had a gigabyte 1080 also with coil whine - annoying but no performance issues at all.
