Surely 3200mhz at Cl14 would be just as fast , if not faster than 3866Mhz at a higher latency.
Or is it more to do with getting a higher overclock with your 9700K

I have BAD CUD, so i get bored with parts really quick and like to try out new stuff. I got the 9700k clocked at 5.1ghz and with the help of @Gouhan i got them clocked to 4000mhz at CL17 over the weekend and it was really impressive with a profile that was loaded on the new z390 Asus board.

But it's time for the 9900K with a formula board and i dont like all the RGB anymore so im looking at getting something like the Corsair Dominator Ram.

Ok that makes sense . 3200Mhz at Cl14 stock is amazing though. Usually it's 16 or 17 . Whoever gets that ram is a lucky bugger.
