We were quite fond of this little laptop, until the cleaning lady accidentally closed its lid with a pen inside... Since then, only 1/3 of the screen is legible.
I've been using it as a media centre, plugged to a TV - it works perfectly fine with an external screen.
It's quite nippy for general office work and it can easily serve as a desktop replacement.
Unfortunately, you'll probably struggle to install a new operating system, as it won't shoot the signal out via the D-Sub, unless already fully installed.
The rationale for the price is that the salvageable parts (HDD, RAM and the power supply) would come pretty close if sold separately.
