Just wondering if the license expires, what can you do with it? Do you just use it as is?
Or do you need to go and renew the license.

You need the licence for full functionality, to renew the licence is very expensive, like 20K or something insane.
You can however use it without a licence. It is a powerful firewall even without all the functionality, but not "easy" to set up properly
