Item: Feiyutech Summon Plus 3 axis 4K Gimbal + extras.
Age: 1.5 years
Price: R3000
Warranty: None
Packaging: Original box.
Condition: Excellent
Location: Menlyn. Pretoria
Reason: Not sure whether It can be counted as upgrading or downgrading yet, but I need a few other things in my kit. Replacing my stolen MTB is becoming more and more of a priority as well...
Shipping: Buyer's risk and cost.
Collection: Sure thing

I bought this gimbal and two extension poles (one is carbon fiber and the other is retractable mono-pod style) directly from Feiyutech in November 2017.

This 4k camera/gimbal combo is in excellent condition. I have not used it a lot. The battery still holds a full charge, the flash still works, everything is pretty much exactly as it was when I first received it. It feels great and sturdy in the hand. The built-in mic is pretty decent. I seem to have misplaced the lens cap, but I might be able to find it in one of my bags. I will update the thread of I can find it. But the sleeve that the camera comes in does a pretty good job of protecting the lens.

EDIT: Adding a 16GB memory card and a lower price on one of my other items for sale - see one of the replies for details.

this is for a GoPro?

Hi, no, there is already a camera - the gimbal and action camera is one unit :)

Here is a youtube link to the first version of the camera. It's pretty similar, but please note that I have the Summon+ , so it is the upgrade of the one in the video:

Pop me a message if you have more questions and have a wonderful evening.

Sorry Miex
I have been scouting for a GP/smartphone gimbal with GP adapter

You guys are missing out here, buy the thing

You won't believe what a difference a gimbal makes - I have one already

Can't drop the price on this, but I'll add the Nintendo DSlite or the Nintendo DSi console with all relevant extras for R500 each instead of what they are listed for on their respective threads. Samsung convertible wireless charger for R100 less that what it's listed for, or the Xbox One Lego Dimensions Starter Pack for R300 instead of the R400 that it's listed for.

I'm so tempted, the only real concern is the short filming time..
How long does it film on a single charge? How do you charge it?

EDIT: My internet was being super strange last night, didn't see that hitting the quotes/ reply button never took into effect, hence editing this reply and posting the right answer to the above question in the next post.

Hi, thanks for your reply, @LukeS

Honestly, I can't say that I've tested that. Or paid attention to the filming time, at least. I always have a few powerbanks in my kit, so I've never had a problem.

Feiyutech has a cool powerbank available for their gimbals- it's about the same size as the gimbal handle and screws on as an extention arm/grip and extra power source. It's about R400 on Gearbest, if I remember correctly.

The gimbal has a sleep mode that you can quickly engage whenever you're between shots. It just powers off the motors- that helps a lot with battery life.

It charges via micro usb, and can be kept on charge as you film- that's where Feiyu's powerbank can come in quite handy.

I have quickly checked if I could find info on the battery life and it is said that the gimbal can handle about 3 hours of continuous filming at 1080p
