Far Cry 6 Gameplay Reveal

Even in action mode?

Because if so then I'm bad at the game :ROFLMAO: (which wouldn't surprise me)
Yea, if you mod your rifle (I use the semi-auto rifles, they do more damage than sniper rifles somehow, even more than the .50 cal).
The main mod I use is the one that increases damage when zoomed in... so all alarms are a walk in the park, as are cameras...
Heavies are laughable, and once you get the backpack and rifle that allows you to shoot through walls, then tanks and choppers are piss easy too, just aim and shoot at the pilot/driver... Or just emp the shit...

So I'm just shit or don't have all the nice mods yet xD
Oh yeah the heavies are shit compared to other FC games.

My biggest disappointment was the snipers in this game tbh.
They are stupid as fuck...
Like you kill someone in their LOS, and they just continue scanning that area regardless, hardly reacting.

I did however like that enemies can still react to your gun shots even if you have a sniper on as it's not 100% silent, so that was a nice touch, and cameras picking up if there are dead bodies laying about was a decent addition as well.

I dislike the fact that the enemy spawns back so quickly.
I like games where I can freeroam the shit out of it and can easily get sidetracked so I constantly find myself in areas I guess I shouldn't be in yet. I still try and explore and clear the place out just to turn around and find that the place is swarming again with enemy units.
Yes.
Holy shit.

I normally kill everyone, then do collectables and loot bodies.
By the time the last box is looted, the first guard is already having coffee again at the entrance.

I agree, one sniper was in a tower and I literally got blinded by his laser thing when looking at him and it didn't even pick me up

I think I'll try co-op this weekend.
My usual circle of friends either don't have the game or couldn't be bothered with it so if someone is game let me know.
I'm only available tonight and tomorrow afternoon.

You walk up to them and press e, it comes on the screen when you get close to it.
Thank you kindly, it worked. Finally. Only issue is that the game keeps crashing every couple of minutes where it did not happen before. I did however install windows 11 a few days back so I rolled back to windows 10 now to see if that might have been the issue.

I am playing on windows 11 also, and have not had 1 crash so far. (I have 17 hours in it, almost done) Also the big billboards with the woman on needs to be destroyed. Noticed you cant spray them.

I played 4 hours yesterday and no crash, so 1 crash in 7 hours so far is not something worth crying about at least. I do think it has something to do with Uplay.

Overall I like the atmosphere and overall feel of the game, the gun play is fun but honestly it's just far too easy. And yet it's still fun, I will definitely play it till the credits roll.

Played for about 5 hours so far I think. Only 1 crash so far, no real issues otherwise.

Definitely not.
I had 4 over a 32hour period.

Game definitely needs smarter AI, the difficulty is a bit lacking. Hoping it picks up later in the game.
Sorry, but no.
Even when you get 'tougher' enemies they are still stupidly easy if you take out captains/commanders (yellow named enemies) first, along with alarms and cameras.
Even the 'elite' units that can spawn in when you piss off everyone is stupidly easy when on foot.
Choppers and tanks are the same, just EMP them then either hijack or watch them drop to their demise.

Also end game needs some proper content.
I even tried some of those missions you start from a base where you have to go steal a toxin and constantly have it under water before it blows up (did the dino park one), and that was pretty much just a walk in the park.

Slapped on the parkour set to run faster, then just headshot the 4-5 enemies that spawn at each tap, and keep to the shade as much as possible, and move on.

Yip, game has zero challenge. It would actually be pretty awesome if the AI had a lot more awareness and team work. I realized that if it still isn't difficult after 7 hours it will never be.

Yea, the biggest issue is that the 'difficulty' is managed by your character 'level'.
I.e as long as your level is higher than whatever area you are in the game is a walk in the park.
The problem with this is as long as you are taking bases, checkpoints, etc your level will always be higher than whatever area you are in, even with levels increasing after certain missions etc.

So the only way to make things harder is to play less of the game.

This game plays alot like Breakpoint in this regard.
I.e enemy 'difficulty' is tied to your level or your equipment level.
They just get more life basically, they don't get smarter.

Far Cry 5 was boring and one of the worst games i ever played . ( new dawn was cool )

i hope Far Cry 6 is as good as Far Cry 3 a masterpiece

I recently ran Far Cry 3 again after many years in 4K max settings game looks amazing

My only gripe with FC since 3 came out is that it's just you running around doing the same thing over and over.
I.e sit on a hill overlooking x and pick enemies off with a silenced sniper rifle till none exist anymore.

Then go hunting for materials so you can increase ammo storage etc. This was the case for 3 and 4.

5 shook things up a tad bit, then new dawn was more of the same again.

And 6 just feels like they took farcry then added a ghost recon breakpoint filter over it.

If I'm being very honest, I wouldn't even be playing Far Cry 6 if there was something else to play, but currently I finished my whole backlog. The next game I'm waiting for is Forza Horizon 5.

This is not my type of game, but it's better than watching series or listening to music at least.

Have had a few crashes, for me it has only crashed when I open the Map (press "m"). The crashes are also random, played a couple of hours no crashes/or a few crashes in a single play session. Basically playing it to keep me busy until AOE3 and Forza 5 comes out as I got the game for free from a friend.

Fry Cry 6 vs a 2007 game

3 hours and I got a crash, not used to games crashing, think this is my first crash since benchmarking my Ti lol (and I've played a whole slew of games since then)

Reports of crashing seems common though
Okay I'll put it out as I experienced it. I had some stability issues where running the Aida64 Cache Memory benchmark would restart the system the moment or just after starting the memory copy section. I finally sorted that part out and got it stable Windows 11. Then I decidd to go back old school with the GPU running fully stock as before I had a vcurve set with 0.950v as max vgpu running 1995 or 2010mhz at most. The moment I went back to fully stock no issues in game. I then went back and sat max vgpu with the vcurve at 0.975 and it seems to work with around 10c drop in gpu temps. So all good now,

I've so far played 10 hours and still no crashes again, so it might be that Ubisoft sorted out the Uplay issues which I think was the cause of my only crash (it crashed after I took over a checkpoint just as it was supposed to auto save).

But I'm already burned out, game can't keep me going. I'll have to find something new to keep me busy until FH 5, thinking Bravely Default 2 which is my type of game.

I have to agree, the last 10 hours felt forced to finish the game for me.

Oh wow what a disappointing storyline.

Did I have fun getting to the end, yes sure, but gawd they could have made the story better especially the end mission.
