(Part 1 for context)

So I've been struggling with getting a replacement Corsair keyboard under warranty from Evetech for almost a month now and I am absolutely ecstatic to finally be typing this thread out on my brand spanking new replacement keyboard!!! But sadly it was no thanks to Evetech, the company that sold it to me, nor was it Corsair themselves coming through in the clutch.

After going to Evetch's premises 4 times, and speaking to the same IT consultant who didn't even have a big enough vocabulary to at least tell me there wasn't a fault found for the 4th time now in a slightly different way, and calling Corsair multiple times between the hours of 7 PM and 3 AM in the morning due to Americas time zone, they both assured me it was a lost cause and that it wasn't going to happen. At least Corsair had the decency to tell me off in a nice way, whist our local Evetech's ray of sunshine flipped me off as I departed from their premises for the 4th time.

I was pissed off and depressed that all my hard work had amounted to nothing; until @Mooseza messaged me privately on Carbonite after reading my first thread. He works at this amazing IT store in Kempton Park called ASG and I was in and out within 5 minutes with a repair order with the supplier just after arriving. Every single person there was friendly, knowledgeable, and did nothing but cater to this lowly customer in their store (A welcome change of pace to the Evetech sales reps that stare into their computers screens souls without making eye contact more than 3 times during a sale).

This is my PSA to anyone who's ever had issues of any kind with a supplier/retailer/Evetech.

Don't make my mistake and waste your time trying to reason with the unreasonable!

Contact ASG and be rewarded with great conversation with amazing people that actually care about you and your satisfaction with the service they provide.

I will personally never again touch Evetech with a 20-foot pole.
I'd much rather go to professionals that actually give a crap about their customers, and walk away in 5 minutes both happy and confident knowing that my problem will be taken care of.

I spent 9+ months trying to get an RMA done with two faulty mice. But to spare you the drabble it was mostly my fault with the invoice for shipping being marked as spam and removed from my inbox. But after the 9 contact points, they never said they didnt get paid.

R99 was the cause of the whole total 11 month delay.

They could have just said "you owe us R99" or something, but nope. Thankfully a different guy assisted me and sorted it out.

Note, half of evetech mail now goes to auto spam in Gmail.

Well I have to give them some credit at least. Sent in my motherboard for rma on a Saturday and on Monday morning they had inspected and replaced my faulty board for a better more expensive model and covered return shipping costs. Their support via email was VERY responsive. This was a much more pleasant experience than I had with them last year. Maybe there's still hope, but only time will tell.

We can name and shame evetech all we want.
Myself, personally, I've never had any issues with them and every item I've bought works fine.
But people NEED to know how they treat customers - the problem comes in is that they offer great prices and people follow the prices.
If we all tackled them online, so... when someone posts on a Facebook thread or TWitter or whatever - then someone posts a link to a thread where we showing how bad they are, Evetech will loose money - but no one does that - it's the rare few who make the effort to expose them.

We need to take the fight to them.

As soon as they start losing money or not making money, they might actually change their attitudes.

Sometimes I think that EVETECH are just SAHARA computers... just another name but same company in the way they worked/dealt with people.

Just google reviews. You will find quite a few. Check out hellopeter, they have a 2.5 out of 10. They are shite and they dont care. You can warn people as much as you want. Me personally will by from carb resellers only

I joined just to jump on the bandwagon.

Cancelled my order and currently waiting for a refund after the sales consultant Dane Harrison phoned me and started off telling me he is sorry I was ignored as a child.

His manager then phoned me to tell me no one insulted me and he doesnt appreciate the way I speak to his staff. Luckily their accounts department actually knows how to speak to people and cancelled my order.

Hope I get a refund quick if at all, once I get it I might ask advice because my order consisted of wireless headset, wireless mouse and not so importantly a keyboard and controller. The first two are important as I need replacements.

Finally if it all goes to more shit and i still do not have my refund by Friday I might just have to call this cell phone number and ask Imran if he was ignored as a child, just to see his response.

I am told that this cell number I received is indeed his personal cell.

@evetech fuck you guys. You really made me kind of upset.
