Hi Guy's,
i have a question, I am with a reseller that utilises MFN(metro fibre network) in Pretoria. The reseller although they do offer some support can do very little beside asking MFN to assist. I play a game that used to connect to EU servers and now for the last month and a half it has been sending me to SEA SNG and my ping has more than double i have been advised by MFN that they cannot do anything about it, but i have mates using the same fibre provider but with other isp's that don't experience this issue. Has anyone else had this and maybe fixed the issue themselves somehow. The game is PUBG, or are there any other PUBG gamers here with other isp's that play and dont go to sea? i will look at changing but need to hear i am not gonna go and have the same shit!
So any gamers that play pubg and are with cool ideas, mind the speed or other isp's on the Metro fibre list of approved vendors. That are still connecting to EU servers. Your feedback will make my life much easier.
Thanks

Hello , I am on Metrofibre with Mweb and Pubg connect to Eu-Fra ping is a bit high with 190-210 but it is strange do not feel any lag
Also in Pretoria , and i see Pubg does not allow to change the server manually , it use to ?

MetroFiber and CoolIdeas in JHB here - Ping on EU PUBG servers is about 180 to 200
I use ExitLag which lets me connect to Singapore and ping is steady round 120 (I'm pretty impressed with a 30% decrease in ping)

This was actually a commin issue with PUBG recently, Me and a few mates with diffrent ISP's we routed to SEA servers. We just use exitlag to not have this issue. Plus selecting the Paris server on exitlag we get around 165-175 ping on EU

Thanks for the replies my BuD's Metrofibre seems to think it is an application based issue and has advised me to change isp's because they couldn't be bothered to sort it unfortunately, its a pain in the buttinski but i will have to do this!
