Deal Thread URL:

Seller:
@Nicgg
Buyer: @Skywalker
Description of Bad Deal:

The ZTE router was paid for on the 29th November , R350 for the router, total R460 including 110 Scott's shipping.

Since then I've had to message multiple times, either being met with no response or more excuses of being "busy".
What utter nonsense.
If you were so busy why open the thread to sell at all? Like really.
These were my last two messages to him which he definitely read

Hi
It's been one week since I've done the payment, and you still haven't shipped it.
The router is fairly urgent. I'd hoped to receive it by this weekend.
I understand you are busy but please arrange for it to be shipped. If you are too busy, give me the address where you will leave the router to be collected and I'll arrange with Scott's shipping. It takes a few minutes on their Website.
Anyways, this is a further reminder and request to please ship the router today.

Hi
Please note that I cannot wait indefinitely for you to ship the item. I would have much rather paid double the price and not have these types of issues.

As such I will give you till Monday close of business to get me a tracking number of a courier.
Alternatively you can even use pep to pep and provide me with the tracking number - pep arbour crossing - Amanzimtoti. You have my details on email.
Lastly you may refund me the full amount to my bank account by Monday. Standard bank account number xxxxxx. Branch code xxxx

Failing which, on Monday eve I will be forced to create a bad deal thread and take this issue to the forum.
I hope you understand
Thank you

So today he says he has shipped it with paxi pep to pep. And I should have received an sms with the tracking details. Definitely haven't recieved the sms. And I'm tired of this, so here's the thread as promised my friend.

I just saw this, and I'm in the same boat at the moment. I paid for the Unifi AP on the same deal thread on Friday, 29 Nov.

On Monday, 2 Dec, he received the payment and told me he'll ship it with PAXI the next day. I don't need it urgently and so I haven't even thought about checking up every day, but he messaged me last Thurday and yesterday that I should let him know when I received it, without me asking.

So I'm under the impression that he has sent it with PAXI, but I still haven't received any SMS from PAXI or tracking info directly from him.

Yes, from the same seller on the same deal thread. I just tried to find out from PAXI if anything has been sent by him by providing his and my details to them. Waiting for a response.

I needed the router urgently, and he was supposed to have shipped it to me with Scott's, which is generally overnight. Paid extra for that. After many excuses for a whole week without shipping I gave him the above 3 options as a last resort. So when he is saying he has shipped it with paxi I'm taking it with a pinch of salt.

Please provide us with the receipt /tracking details in that case.

FYI on PAXI. You (The recipient) will only receive an sms once it arrives at your Pep. The sender receives all other messages. However, he can send you the tracking number which he would have received immediately upon handing to PEP.

I have his cell number and email address on hand should anyone want to contact him

I have phoned PAXI twice now, asking them to check for any package on their system with my number and his, but there is none. On Tuesday he told me I should've gotten the shipping details from his wife, implying she shipped it and used her number, which is a convenient excuse.

So last night I called him to confront him, but he didn't answer, and right after hanging up he whatsapped me: "She gonna sms you the details in the morning"...

Still nothing, so yeah, I'm 50/50 now on whether he intended so scam us or if he just is incompetent to deal on this forum. I have no proof that he even has the item I paid for in the 1st place, which I blame myself for. I should've at least asked for pictures before paying him.

OK he's not responding. @Kloppies and @Skywalker I would suggest you both open a case of fraud against him at your local SAPS, and send him the case numbers. I'm banning him from here permanently.

Gentlemen. SAPS will require an address for this worthless shitstain mistake of nature to take any action. If you need the address, contact Mr. Howard Blumenfeld. He is a professional tracer. I use him for work purposes, excellent results. Cost is about R800 per search. He is currently on leave, will be back in Jan. thesequestrator@gmail.com

Hope this helps.

Let's not drag the man's name through the mud just yet, he had two positive dealings with senior carb members who both met him in person, one of them close to where he lives. What they told me about him corroborates with all the info I have of him, so I'm not convinced he intended to scam us using his real identity, but he has definitely slipped up.

If he had troubles this last week, he should at least communicate more clearly and not make promises he can't deliver.

We've had 100+ Positive traders go sour, ending up stealing thousands from members here. Previous dealings doesn't excuse bad deals at this stage. We all go through troubled times - important thing is to communicate it. That's it. Nothing more. Just communicate.

I have found out some details for you guys if you need (Facebook page & Linkedin profile) I see he also worked at Esquire so not sure if they could maybe help?

Hi guys. I was in the same position as you guys in that I paid for the huawei router at the end of November. Didn't receive it and OP kept on claiming that he had shipped etc but never could provide a tracking number. I had given up on this case and had actually purchased another router.
However this morning I was en route to centurion so I decided to just message the OP and ask if I could collect the router. He said yes so I went through and collected. He still claims that my parcel was lost in transit by the courier and he will claim from them for it. However he did give me a router so from my side I'm happy.
Not sure if any of the others have received anything or what's the situation. Does look like a guy who isn't scamming but just has terrible communication

You should still give a neutral or negative itrader so others are made aware.
