Howzit gents. Hope you Carbies are doing well. Just want to ask a few questions before I spend R266 for shipping to Evetech for an RMA on my headset. I purchased a Logitech G635 from them in 2020. IT started giving a few problems last year but it was minor but now its gotten to a point where for me its kinda major but does this warrant a return for a faulty headset.

Issues:
1. One of the headset ears popped off the headband holding on my ear. Its annoying and not comfortable at all.(Will post a picture)
2. When switching from 3.5mm to USB sometimes sound only comes through one ear. Having me to wiggle it up to 5 Min just so that the sound is balanced in volume between the left and right ear.
3.Mic sometimes does not work and blast a Buzzing sound into my team mates ears very inconsistent issue and I cannot for the life on me replicate properly.

Other issues I fixed ( Cable just stopped working that was given to me with the headset. Bought a new one for Like R50)

I just want to know if they will replace it? Because they just take so dam long I want to know if it does fall under the warranty claim.

Thanks in advance
Neo

If I were you I would rather try my luck directly with Logitech than with Evetech. If you still have the invoice they should be able to replace it for you.
Is there Logitech RSA or should I contact there main website?

It would depend on the warranty duration & specific wording regarding if that "could" be seen as wear-and-tear or material defects (as well as the conditions under which they occurred).

Can't speak for whether Evetech will honor the warranty but I can speak about my own RMA experience with a Logitech headset I bought from a different online shop back in 2015, paid for shipping back to online shop and it took 11 days only to be informed the supplier claimed it is out of the warranty period even though my proof of purchase showed it had more than a year left, I even sent the shop a screenshot of their own website listing showing that it is supposed to have 2 year warranty from them and my proof of purchase is less than 2 years old, nope they just continued to say supplier says it's past the warranty period.

In the end I went through Logitech directly instead and after they verified fault and that I am still in warranty they asked for proof of destruction and sent me a band new set.

TLDR : Rather go through Logitech directly before you spend money shipping it to Evetech and maybe get denied anyway.
