So I'm keen on getting into the DIY game in terms of juice and coils. Figured I'd start with the juice and see if I can find something on here before I buy new.

Items Wanted:
* 500ml PG
* 500ml VG
* 100ml Nicotine
* 3-4 fruit Bases - e.g. strawberry, kiwi, litchi, dragonfruit etc.
* Vanillin, EM and Cream.
Packaging Essential: Nope
Desired Age: Doesn't matter
Location: JHB
Willing to accept a shipped item: Perhaps but preferably not
Ballpark/Budget Amount: ~R400

Hi bud this order with everything mentioned will total to R560 at BLCK vapour - EM I have no idea what the hell that is ....

well just remember this is consumables soo chances of someone selling is slim but worth a shot bud.... I hope this helps ... oh yeah depending on your mix ratio it is recommended to get ~ 10 flavors per per liter base as most flavours mix in at about 10% depending on personal taste as well but otherwise you're gonna sit with a lot of base left and no flavor to mix with it soo just look into that :)

Hey dude. Thanks for the input!

EM is Ethyl Maltol - sweetener. I did price everything at blckvapour before posting - but with delivery cost it's a bit more than that. Was hoping to get it a bit cheaper from someone who has spare. Richardrpg also PM'd some invaluable advice and links and between his info and yours I think it looks like it might just be better to buy it direct. Thanks to you both!

I'll leave this open just in case I get lucky but otherwise I guess I'll wait for January :)

I've used blckvapour
Fast delivery
Just beware lol they have cool accesories like pipettes and beakers makes u feel like a scientist
Easy to make tho ill use them but havent vaped in a month

Thought I'd just update a little bit here with my escapades thus far...

Bought bases and flavours from Clyrolinx. Just bought a handful of fruit flavours and testing with a shake and vape they're OK so far... I reckon they'll need to steep a bit as they're quite sharp and "perfumey" right off the bat. Going to be buying some flavours from BlckVapour next week too as I'd like to try my hand at building some tried and tested flavours based on known recipes.

Also made my own coffee extract and vaped it fresh and it's absolutely phenomenal - I'm blown away by how good it is. So little effort too. Definitely going to try my hand at some other DIY extracts.

Hay there DarrynB ,I'm also interested in making my own juice and own extracts like you did. Could you perhaps pm me some information on how you made you own coffee extract?

Would appreciate it thanx.

Got the idea/recipe for the coffee extract from here:
https://www.reddit.com/r/DIY_eJuice/comments/1sost6/creating_extracts_to_be_used_in_ejuice/

Have also done chocolate and toasted coconut using the same principal and they're both fantastic as well.
The flavours are almost too realistic ... if I can put it that way. Mixed the chocolate and coffee and it's literally like vaping a moccachino :p

DarrynB I see you discovered the DIY section in Ecigssa as well.

A wealth of information on that site.

I started DIY with Clyrolinx. Their concentrates are terrible. No amount of aging seems to get rid of that perfume smell and cheap taste.

Maybe I'm blinded by n00bness but the ones I've put together so far have been OK.. not great but certainly not as bad as I thought they'd be. Guess I'll know once I've messed around with TFA, CAP, FA etc.

Yeah I see that... looks awesome. Also managed to find a nice RTA :)

Agree with you 100%. Was recommended Clyrolinx by a mate of mine in JHB.

Forked out R1000 on the premix VG/PG/3.34mg Nic and about 25 concentrates... STILL have 23 concentrates (of which most are 3/4 or full'ish). I thought it was the base that was too strong, but realised it was the concentrates after I bought from BLCKVapour.

Don't EVER buy from Clyrolinx. Horrible, HORRIBLE concentrates. Might as well be vaping chloroform, no jokes. They all taste too potent and incredibly artificial. Whether it be fruity flavours or dessert flavours.

BLCKVapour is legit.

As well as these guys: http://e-liquid-concentrates.co.za/ (only place I could order from when everyone else closed for Christmas).

They both stock the general international concentrates (which is what you want).

Check out Valley Vapour as well, but I think their concentrates are 50% more expensive than the other 2: https://valleyvapour.co.za/

I'm only using Clyrolinx at the moment and have no issues, you must realise their concentrates are super concentrated, dont use more than 3% flavour on a juice where as all other concentrates use 10 -20% per juice.
Also , you need to use a "streathing" process to age the juice (shake & leave cap off for a few hours)

Ye, I did that Richard. No matter what - I could not get rid of the perfumy thing. Taste is subjective though, so could just be me - but still. Didn't like it.

Just a quick note to anyone reading this who may not know this.

VG is available from just about any pharmacy. Just look for glycerin on the shelf. No need to order from a vape shop or online. Averge price is about R25/200ML.

Just make sure it is either BP or USP rated. (British Pharmaceutical or United States Pharmaceutical)

Will be cheaper than any vape shop. Only time it may be cheaper to buy online is if you order more than 2L or so.

Yeeeaaahhh, you're right it is readily available, but it's actually cheaper buying from the vape stores, usually around R50 for 500ml, and it's more convenient because you just buy it along with the rest of your ingredients.
