Hey all

My parent's dishwasher has given up and we're looking around for a replacement.

All suggestions/advice appreciated.

Thanks everyone for your input! Seems like Bosch is the unanimous victor.

Will probably pick up this model that's on special at Makro.

Will leave the poll open till then.

When I bought my Bosch 3 years ago Bosch and Siemens were in partnership. So its the same units just different branding and slight cosmetic differences. Not sure if anything has changed since then but I would buy whichever is cheaper with the same feature set.

Warranty service is on point as well. First call out they replaced the entire unit since the door was skew upon delivery, second call out they replaced the tablet dispenser. No issues.

There's also a Bosch factory shop in Midrand that's worth checking out before you pull the trigger.

On the note with the Bosch stuff.

I would recommend a series 4 or better, the series 2 units are really poor quality.

On topic - might want to watch and learn from what Trump has to say about Dishwashers - that stable genius knows EVERYTHING. he's 'introducing' new dishwashers that's going to change the world
