From weak newbie to still weak Lvl19 in a single weekend. Crap things are hectic on Titan though. Makes that starting EDZ Fallen VS Legion skirmish look asleep.

Also that moment where you realize your favourite gun is doing 40-50 points less damage than all your new pick-ups but they all aren't as nice in terms of range or fire rate and yet you realize your favourite no longer quite has the punch it used to. And then you make the change and convert the old gun to glimmer and immediately things don't gel so nicely any more and it takes a lot more farming to get back to a nice forumula.
And or when the green and even white drops you see start out-stat-ing your blue or gold gear by quite a margin and you have to simultaneously up and downgrade.

Titan is hectic as well with its combat, though, wait till you get to Nessus...that got much more hectic for me, in my opinion.

Also gotta keep checking all the items you collect from the drops and switch to the more powerful ones accordingly. Also, dont forget when you unlock a new class, in order to active it, you have to go back to earth to the shard of the Traveller in order to active it. I am now on the 3rd sub-class, the archer of the void or something like that (the one after the gunslinger one).

Yeah I got the 2nd artifact so I'm gonna have to go back to Earth soon soon to activate it. Except my main is a Warlock, not a Hunter.

Switching to more powerful weapons from drops does have some limits, up to a certain points difference if you gel better with it the weaker weapon will serve you better. But once you pass that point and have to switch from your nice Blue to a generic Green...sniff, sucks letting go of that perfect combo.

Sucks especially that cuz I'm overlevelled my Titan mission gear has really cool bonuses but is way weaker than my current gear.

I noticed that as well, where you have to get your combination of weapons right as well...at and some point you have to switch to the higher rated weapons...some of them actually do suck as well in terms of rate of fire, etc. I try to keep a balance, with the first one being the normal ammo weapon (the white boxes for ammo refill), one energy (blue or green) weapons, and the last one is the power weapons (either a sniper rifle or rocket launcher - purple ammo box drops).

Lol, that's not you. That's the game itself. 1st is always Kinetic (white), 2nd is always energy (green) and 3rd is always power. If you want and are patient enough you can have both your energy and kinetic weapon be the same type. (like 2 pulse rifles)

Personally I like range, I don't like getting up close an personal because that tends to get me cornered in my own self-created killboxes as I focus on the captain/knight/servitor/wizard/other boss and have some grunt klap me in the back repeatedly or a 2nd box which hand't spawned before. I generally snipe as much as I can from the beginning of an area regardless regardless of equipped weapon.
That's also why I prefer the Dawnblade to other supers, it's the rangiest one.

So my main is an auto-rifle with high range if I can get it.
2nd...I haven't made up my mind yet. Really enjoying my current scout rifle but I've also enjoyed a nice punchy rangy pistol, a rangy pulse rifle and an SMG for when I had to get close.
The idea is for it to make up the deficit of the first, so it either needs to be rangier or better close up.
3rd is a sniper rifle.

Sucks whenever I can't get something suitable for any of the categories and end up more with close range weapons at my level.

One thing that I have learned now is to have a gun that reloads lighting fast. I have one that reloads as soon as the last bullet is out. The second one loads just as fast. I'm om Lvl 19 both guns is 168 and 152 Attack/Damage whatever it may be called.

The game is really amazing and I can only imagine if you play with a few friends. I also found my 3rd power thingy it's called fractured arrow (I'm a hunter btw).

Hand Cannons are extremely powerfull that is sometimes my go to gun if I need to take down a shield quickly but if I really need things done I take the grenade launcher and get it over with.

I play with two Auto rifles and then I have a Hand Cannon and Scout Rifle on the side.

This is what I meant

Fast reload is good but it only makes sense on a high damage or fire rate weapon. No point at all in a quickly reloading scout rifle for instance.

Grinding xD

True, but I really like the Destiny 2 grind, at least so far whilst I still have fairly easy room to climb. (I'm also lvl19, 170 something power.....I actually grind too much lol because I'm 2-3 times stronger than mission requirements)

That is a good thing. Have you played against other players? That is not fun I was lvl10 and opponent's lvl 30 [emoji23]

You guys must let me know then I’ll take you through a strike. I think a power lvl of 140 is required but cant remember

Not even gonna try. I can tell whenever I do public events that my rate of damage is lower than other players, even weaker ones, so my net is definitely not up to PvP. Enemies disintegrate as quickly as I can acquire targets. It's clear they are moving and shooting quicker than I am and that they see the enemies before they are loaded for me.

Takes some real getting used to how this game doesn't lock areas off when doing side missions. High value targets keep stumbling into them making them much harder than they should be. Or when you get a vague mission objective you can't just follow the enemies because all the usual stuff still spawns as well until you're in the endgame of the mission which is far enough away to avoid other yellows interfering.
I'm just thankful the mission AI itself doesn't go wandering all over the map if you don't find the targets fast enough.

Void Touched Guardians seems dead too. Now and then there's another player on but most of the time it's just me....never even spoke to another member, just randomly got invited one day.

Humble Bundle has the Destiny expansion pass (for expansion 1 and 2) on sale currently.... i see it for $17.99 (this price seems to include the 10% discount to active subscriptions) .. roughly working out to around R240...looks like a good deal (granted, i havent checked anywhere else)

Is anyone playing forsaken at the moment . Im thinking off getting D2 on pc now ... pity i cant transfer my ps4 account but anyways i am looking for a PC clan if anyone is recruiting .

I got sidetracked by other games and running a bit low on net this month. Seriously September is way too busy this year.
