Job Description

Diagnose faults in computer hardware and peripheral equipment and carries out repairs. Responsible for regular maintenance of network users and resources.

Requirements

• Grade 12/NQF4
• Prepared to travel
• Prepared to work outside normal working hours and give assistance on a regular basis

Duties And Responsibilities

• Analysing and resolving problems on a continual basis which personnel may have with hardware and/or software
• Installation and configuration of hardware as specified within the operational policy of VKB.
• Complying with the Group Risk Management Policy.
• Solving and coordinating client complaints and enquiries on an ongoing basis.
• Continuous liaison within the department and internal departments in the Group to maintain long- term relationships and to deliver quality service.
• Mentor and train all involved staff/personnel to maintain standards, practices and processes.
• Complete all training interventions as requested by direct supervisor/manager successfully.
• Be familiar with of all new technologies, products, processes, practices and techniques by self-study and attending approved training interventions.
