When I got this mouse, after long and hot (???) gaming sessions, the side rubbers would slip off or shift. That pissed me off so I superglued their ass to the mouse. I'm also a shit gluer (?!?) so the edge on one side was a little bit off...so I decided to cut off that end to avoid it annoying me when you grip it. It doesnt look like something you would put on display, but you dont see it and most importantly it doesnt bother you when using it. Function over form, right?
