GIGABYTE - MO27U2-27 QD-OLED Gaming Monitor - UHD 3840x2160-240Hz @$649 (ZAR 14,378.25 at checkout)
Sold and Shipped by Amazon

Good deal but I wish they had the 32 inch model available, the FO32U2. I don't get why everyone is pushing 4K 27inch panels. 32 inch is the sweet spot imo.

27inch 5k would sort of make sense if you're using it with a Mac (I think those are coming at CES) for their dpi scaling, but otherwise I think 4k is overkill for such a small panel.

Yeah, totally agree. You guys are just going to be out of pocket waiting16 days and then at best your order will be cancelled and credit passed.
Check out seller - Takealot.com: Online Shopping | SA's leading online store
Similar SSD's get one star.
yeah, i had a look at these (cheap storage). yes, it is takealot, should get your money back. eventually, or sponsor someone airtime

it is for taking some backups of stuff when i emigrate. i dont mind getting a working 2.something tb, if i pay for 4tb, but i dont want to fire it up once i am there, to realise the 2.something tb dropped to less.

(also, let me know if you see dirt cheap ssd somewhere, bigger capacity preferred)

I'm willing to bet it's sd cards flashed to show bigger storage like they do with the flash drives

that does happen sometimes, but i will order a product like that just on principle to fuck with the seller, because it costs me nothing if it's a legit product, but it costs the seller hundreds if it's a scam, because they have to pay shipping both ways AND takealot takes 10% of the sale, even on refunds.

This is only a deal because the market is fucked. It's not really a deal. Although two months from now it will look like the deal of the century in hindsight.

Crucial T710 Gen 5 2TB SSD for R4900 shipped to your door.

Pretty much one of the best Gen 5 drives, but it is overkill for 99% of people and they run hot. You need a proper motherboard heatsink or something like a Thermalright HR10 or it will throttle. Don't try running it without a heatsink.

i think this is the cheapest z2e device at the moment ,although computer mania have it with the dock :
msi claw z2e R17999

ASUS TUF B650E-Plus AM5 motherboard from Amazon.com for R3474.17 shipped to your door:

Pros:
  • Price
  • PCIe 5.0 x 16 slot
  • Decent VRMs (12+2+1 80A DrMOS Power Stages)
  • Good I/O ports
  • 3 x M.2 slots all with heatsinks
  • Wi-Fi 6e + Bluetooth 5.3
Cons:
  • Warranty claim process will be a drag if something goes wrong

There are probably quite a few other decent deals on Amazon.com while the Rand is strong and with local prices increasing

Speaking of Wootware, has anyone owned or used their 32 inch OLED? I've heard issues with color accuracy and dead pixels but it's a Samsung panel, it can't be that bad.

Also all these new Wootware monitors and most of the ones from CES are 27 inch. 32 inch gang dead in a ditch.

New Wootvision monitors up for preorder

WootVision 27Q O500 27" WQHD (2560x1440) 500Hz 0.03ms OLED @ R14999

WootVision 27Q M240 27" WQHD (2560x1440) 240Hz 1ms Fast IPS Mini-LED HDR1000 @ R4999

WootVision 27Q O240 27" WQHD (2560x1440) 240Hz 0.03ms OLED HDR400 @ R9199
To get those OLEDs at that price, it looks like they had to skimp on a base plate

Those actually look pretty slick

I've got one. Not had a single issue with mine.

I believe some of the Wootvision monitors are rebranded Titan Army models, but don’t quote me on this as I am not 100% sure, just what I have heard
Their previous 1440P OLED and mini-leds were, but it looks like they switched OEMs with this new batch

These 2 are from InnoCN/Titan Army

Team Group T-CREATE EXPERT 48GB (2x24GB) 6400MHz CL32 DDR5 Kit
R 6529
Yes of course the price is inflated but for a brand new kit it is way cheaper than Wootware or Evetech for Eg:
Cheapest 48GB kit at Wootware is R 8500 and at Evetech it's R 9300
I think it's only until midnight (Sun)

Huawei has devices on sale. Also offering an extra 15% off coupon - A2026JAN (valid 04 Jan 2026 to 06 Feb 2026)
