Condition: Everything is literally perfect. My headset just fell from the desk onto the tiled floor less then a 1m drop and appears to have cracked the right eye screen which is now black. SO ANNOYED.

Reason: See condition above - Touch controllers are as new as i never used them, headset was only for sim racing, and two perfect condition sensors if someone wants to add a sensor to there setup for roomscale vr.

Well if all else fails I was going to sell the Sensors and touch controllers on UK Ebay when i go back in march which would be easy... I would get about R3000 for those... So If someone wants to pay for that you can have everything for R3000 (i.e - headset for free). The headset it still perfect for parts, headphones, straps, cables etc. all as new. even the face padding as new.

If somehow you got a new OLED you could easily repair it... however from my brief searching they cant be sourced anywhere - thus the 'sold for parts'. Personally I urgently needed a headset for my sim racing league so had to bite the bullet and get a new headset ;(

I know that you can use either left or right screen in either place so if you get a hold of another broken unit then you can use a screen from that.

Yea also read that.... so this can sit waiting for someone else who has an unfortunate accident maybe. - I just didn't have time to wait in this instance.

Lots of people find that the headphones flake out from time to time... i thought maybe someone could use mine to repair those. The big problem with oculus is they literally offer NO parts or repair - cant even find parts on ebay etc. its super locked down.

Super frustrating. There is not even a scratch/mark on the outside of the unit. so it clearly just landed in the perfect spot to pop the right screen only.

Ok there has been more interest in splitting... so if I can get all parts sold I would go that route.. looking at prices from amazon for individual parts I suggest as a good saving:

Sensors : SOLD
Controllers: R950 for the pair
Headset for parts: R1200

Or alternatively R3000 for the lot still.. if you already have a rift...maybe get yourself two extra sensors for same price as buying them new and get yourself spare touch controllers and full headset full of parts for free?
