Custom running shoe fitting

Hi guys, i've recently gotten more into the fitness and cardio scene.

I bought a pair of asics on a dik special:

But they don't run so lekker, I get big flare-ups of ITB running with these shoes. They just dont suit my foot lekker.

Then lately i moved on to my very old adidas running shoes (probably around 13 years old) and they ran much much better. But they are far from perfect.

I nees to get myself a lekker pair of new running shoes but want to get someone that knows about running to advice me on what to buy and what would suit me better. Does anyone know of a store of person that could assist with this? Im based in Hartbeespoortdam and wouldn't mind travelling gauteng etc.

The wife has very specific needs with high arches and very thin feet - She battled for years until we had this done at a specialist shoe store. This was before Sportsman's Warehouse offered the service. I only mention them because you have a fair chance of finding one of their stores close to you where you live.

True, but emphasis on the word "Guide" - went there thinking it was a free gait analysis, just turned out it was them looking at the way you walk, whether you pronate, are neutral or supinate and suggesting certain shoes. Not like a formal analysis with video recording where you strike the ground vs your bodies centre of gravity etc.

Will also advise you on what your previous shoes were. Can find better deals online, or wait for their (Runaway Sport's) birthday specials in May.
