Hi all, my apologies, I did not get a chance to post the contestants for the competition yet. It seems this will only happen on Friday. I am still awaiting some details from certain contestants. If they do are not able to send me the details by Friday they will automatically be disqualified from the competition. I am going to re-open the opportunity for entries until Friday seeing as I have been lenient with other contestants and I still want to see some of the crazy designs that you all have. If you want to enter please PM me the following:

1. The heading must be 'GPU Backplate Competition'
2. Pictures of your current PC build which you hope to place your GPU Backplate in.
3. A drawing of your backplate design. The Backplate will not have RGB at the moment it will only be the basic design. The drawing does not have to be Michelangelo's 16th Chapel, it just has to convey the basic idea. I am also in the process of sourcing custom vinyl designs but for the moment custom vinyl designs will not be available.

A special thanks to Flex for referring him and thank you to Fox22743, it seems RGB will be in the pipeline much sooner than we expected. After the competition, we will be opening up "shop" (as to speak) and taking on orders. There are a few people in line who have already contacted me with some designs and ideas of what they would like. What we would like to do is to give our future customers an idea of what they can expect with the results of the competition. Hopefully we will make the 3 winners of the competition very happy and we will be able to give you all a very good idea of what to expect.

So let me start off with a genuine apology. The designs have been very difficult and time consuming to create and on top of it all I've been covered in various deadlines that I have to meet. This was one of my priorities and it still is but it becomes an issue when you have 10 other things that you also have to do and are just as important. My deepest apologies for the delays people.

As compensation for the delay with the designs I will be giving each of the people who originally applied successfully for the competition their very own back plate. I am designing something special for each and some may or may not have RGB LEDs in them, I will contact the competitors personally and discuss this with them. Hopefully this will be completed much sooner with the designs being almost completed (the struggle has been to make the files Vector files so that the Laser Cutter will be able to cut them accordingly).

As soon as these designs have been completed and sent off to their owners I will request that they send me a picture of it in their PC and everyone will hopefully get an idea of what can be accomplished. Then we will officially be open for business.

Once again, my deepest apologies for the delays and we will be opening soon.
