CUD Result Thread

You need to slap on a G12 and AIO on that GPU. Should be slimmer than the stock cooler and will massively improve Temps and you dont have to worry about popping the cover off when you game :D
I have an additional radiator so just need to get a block, but to be honest I am not keen on voiding the warranty on a R20k card at this stage.

The only real benefit on watercooling is reduced noise. No real performance benefit.

The watercooling was an itch I needed to scratch, but will probably go back to air cooling. The cost vs benefit of watercooling is just silly.

Not sure if this even qualifies to be in this thread, but just wanted to post about my 'build' somewhere. Yes, I realize it's not a full blown PC, but it's what I'm happy with. For anyone wondering, my desk is 200 x 80 cm. Excuse the picture quality, I know it's crap😂

Components are as follows...
Intel NUC BXNUC10i7FNH
Corsair 2x8gb DDR4-2666 RAM
WD Black SN850 1tb SSD without heatsink (learned this the hard way😭)
Seagate BarraCuda 2TB 5400rpm HDD
Logitech G213 keybaord
Logitech G102 mouse
Dell P2421D - 24" 1440P monitor

Minecraft and GZDoom are probably the only two games that run 60fps at 1440P🙈

Why not place that NUC power brick over the edge? A bit sleeker look perhaps

Not PC cud but something I have wanted and needed for a while now.
Gone it the shitty soldering iron and hello Magnum!
By all measure still a small boy but for the hobbiest in me, it will be perfect!

And my new mouse has arrived.
Big thanks to @Dreamware Tech for getting it to me and a nice chocolate with my order.

Already 3d printed some new shells for the mouse to match build. Just need to sand it and make it look shiny :)

Why do I feel like I'm necroing this thread ?
well if you didn't, I probably would have.... in a few days any way, since my new beast is still a bit of a WIP.

Anyhoo, this is where my CUD got me thus far
nice looking setup though! I was so very confused by your keyboard at first.. numpad on the left and all.

anyways, my new rig is running, but its not quite complete yet... the LG 34" ultrawide that I got had to go back to Wootware (one of its almost 5 million pixels was solid green..) and I'm still running the cables that came with my PSU (Moddiy cable kit should be arriving next week).. but here's a sneak peak in the meantime.

my new 7800XT barely fits in the Meshify C, literally only have about 3mm to spare... also, it's heavy and I don't have a GPU support bracket, but it's all good, because I can just use one of my front mounted fans... LOL. :)

everything is ARGB, so I linked it to my CPU temp, now the colours go from blue when it's cool, through to orange when it's warm, and into red when it gets hot.

I'll post a better interior photo when I get my custom PSU cable kit, and maybe a daytime desk photo when I get my replacement monitor..
