@ThanaToeter_ZA what gpu are you using?
Also remember the distro is designed for a certain range of EKWB blocks, certain board and then obviously EKWB GPU blocks.
I must agree with @Off-The-Chart, double flex fittings could easily help you situation.

Also you might have to end up running the GPU in vertical.
I ha e the MSI 2080ti Gaming X Trio and I can tell you there is probably 1mm between the glass and card and I have 5h3 XL.
I would make 100% sure your gpu is gonna fit before getting the XL just got the GPU.

Just holla if you need some dimensions.

I'm running the MSI 1080ti Gaming X with Phanteks waterblock.
The PCB on this card itself was designed to come up more.

As for vertical, I will actually be able to do this with the XL, where as with my current case, the radiator + fans at the bottom are in the way of most, if not all standard vertical gpu brackets.
But even so I did check the height of the card (163mm) and it is less than the max allowed by the DXL (167mm), sure, not less by much, but enough that the side panel can go on while GPU is still mounted as it is.

Finished my ROG build. Apologies for the quality on some of the photos as my phone does not like the red leds.

I would be super curious to see how our systems will match each other in TimeSpy, as our specs are very similar, Intel VS AMD... LOL

Here you go. Completely stock. We are like dead even

So after thinking i was having the mounting hardware for my block for AM4, I was much in the wrong.
So this is what my pc is gonna look like for the next few weeks.

Still need to sort pump cables, redid loop yesterday and now I am done for a while. Must say, the previous bykski block did a very decent job considering the price compared to the Heatkiller IV.

oooof, what is the distance between that GPU and the side panel?

It is really tight, just the way she likes it . . . .

Not a big deal though, temps slightly higher, but no noticeable drop in performance.

My pc is in the study which is on the west side of the house catching the afternoon sun and thus always hot, so I run the aircon and I always open the front panel when I game.

You need to slap on a G12 and AIO on that GPU. Should be slimmer than the stock cooler and will massively improve Temps and you dont have to worry about popping the cover off when you game :D
