As the title says, are Cryptocurrencies still alive?

Is it still a worthy investment?

Been seeing mixed things on the interwebs.

Someone on here still farm?

@Theviking
Definitely still worth investing. Go do some research invest in 2-3 projects and 1 of them will make you a few bucks in the next 5 years.

As ALWAYS, do not put in what you can't afford to lose.
If you are new it's probably good to stick to the more well known cryptos.

As @Altus7 said, do research before jumping in... During the great bullrun I wasn't researching much I was just buying into everything left and right... dodgy ICOs... promises of world changing utility... hahahaha...

I have some altcoins that I earned through masternodes (wowzer that was a fun time... spinning up VPS at 3am and starting masternodes as soon as a new coin launched). Some of the projects are dead now, others have had new devs join after the original ones left during the great crypto winter. So I'm hoping they create something useful (and thereby create value).

@thePridge What projects/coins do you personally believe has a future?

I think in the next 5years 90% of the coins will disappear.

Maybe closer to 99% will disappear... hahahaha.

I've currently got a little Zen, Eth and BTC.
Then I've been converting my random craptos to Eth/Zen over the last while.

The other stuff like Innova, Tokugawa are mostly dead... But Innova guys got a new dev and have done a little bit of a revival... so I'm still holding onto that... The other stuff (like Tokugawa and plenty other stuff) is worthless... so just holding the bags and hoping the next bull run makes it shuffle a little so I can get a little BTC for it.

Ok great.
Probably not many will agree with me but personally I feel XRP has the best chance of succeeding. Looking at ODL (On-Demand Liquidity) and the constant growth everyday just shows me the usecase XRP provide. 3 Corridors up and running so much potential!

I am still actively trading trying to grow my amount of coins I hold. Not to fussed on how much they are valued at the moment, just trading to up the amount I have. Trading LTC at the moment.
Hopefully one day I will be on the right side of the cadlestick :)
