Item Wanted: Medium/Large-sized CRT (Box) TV, from around 21" (54cm) to 29" (74cm).
Nice to have: Sony Trinitron, PVM, BVM, anything I can connect a PS2 via component and enjoy (component not necessary, I can modify it to add that functionality).
Packaging Essential: No
Desired Age: Old, still bright and sharp image. Willing to do a little clean up and replace a capacitor or two at most.
Location: Johannesburg, Gauteng (and surroundings, Pretoria at the most)
Willing to accept a shipped item: Depends on shipping cost
Ballpark/Budget Amount: You tell me

I managed to get a 22" CRT monitor and 21" CRT TV from Marketplace, thanks everyone!

Not to derail the thread completely.

Sadly, not selling any of mine at this time, but the fact that you mentioned you do work on these piqued my interest. Especially that you RGB mod them. I'm tagging @retrosalvage in here as I think he has a few in the cupboard that he may want modded.

Thank you Neko, indeed! I do not have any for sale but keen to get 1 or two of them RGB modded.

Hi there, when you say RGB modded, do you mean RGB or Component (Y Pb Pr, still has red, green and blue cables)? RGB is often more complicated because of the Sync (PS2 for example sends sync on the green line, some other devices have a separate sync output) and the fact that most jungle ICs don't have a separate RGB in, requiring you to hijack the OSD menu (and add a switch so you can still access it).

Hi, I’m looking for a proper 15kHz RGB mod (not component). It’s a Sony Trinitron, and from what I understand many Trinitron chassis are commonly RGB-modded via OSD injection if needed.
