Taiwan, Tainan, March 4th, 2021 - COUGAR, leading brand in the development of PC gaming hardware and peripherals, today announced the launch of the COUGAR VM410 Headset. Many headsets sacrifice customization with comfort, however the VM410 retains the most essential support to achieve the sweet spot of both customization and comfort. Headband and multiple-axis ear-shell adjustment will provide you with a pressure-free gaming experience.

Can literally say at R1300 this headie is pretty darn good and comfy. The build feels like a clone of 1more spearhead mixed with a mh751 but way better drivers then the mh751

edit: Thought I should add this though the earcups do not swivel flat like the mh751 which is a deal breaker for some

Further tests before not purchasing more, one of the sets I received had great cable whilst a 2nd set had horribly crinked cables that felt odd length.

Also one of the two sets mic was not picking up correctly and kept stating it was a stereo mixer.

So there might be some QC issues.

Just out of interests sake though for any that love Cougar headies, these are a full 15 to 17db louder then the Phontum S with the same size drivers which don't seem to distort when placed on a Dac with reasonable power added.

That's good to know. I have not had over ear or on-ear experience with any Cougar cans. However these are affordable and if they sound good and as comfortable as you say, they should be an obvious purchase.

Thanks for the feedback :)
