My Headset fell of my desk this weekend and after that my mic was extremely crackly and distorted, i did test on a different pc and even directly in my phone without the usb module.
dissembled the mic portion the check it out and wound up braking it even more, so would prefer the whole mic mic boom with wires.

Good luck dude, spares are hard to come by.

My domestic bent/broke my dongle, couldn't find any spares. Friend soldered it for me with a new USB cable and luckily it works.

oi, yeah if only it was that would have soldered it ez lol.
hopefully someone has a damaged headset, i really don't care about anything else, I really don't want to spend 1k plus for a new headset and or desk mic seeing that he headset audio still works perfect for me, and i'm really happy with how the headset sits and sounds.
I know there will be better, there will always be better but at a CRAZY premium!

so i actually came right temporarily, I replaced the mic condenser with a plantations headset mic, is slightly bigger condenser and slightly less sensitive, i had to cut some material out of the cover at the end, but got everything lightly super glued together. I would still like to replace it with a original mic + boom if anyone has some parts they want to get rid off, let me know please.

Soooo just as a update if anyone reads this, lol
after i fixed the mix it got burnt out again after i used it that evening on my pc, so by the looks of it the USB 7.1 converter somehow has something to do with it, i relpaced the mix again is is working perfect now for a few days without the module directly to the mobo
