I see you went with the gtx 1060. Just a little bit curious...is a gtx 1070 overkill for 1080 gaming?

I wasn't planing on going 1440p at this moment so I went with the 1060 . That gfx card can run 1440p but not like a 1070 . We shall see how it goes but that's also game dependent .

Guys is it worth using the stock case fans ? I see my Nzxt s340 elite has 2x 120 case fans . I was looking at those Be quiet fans and the corsair fans but I've heard some strange things about the corsair ones . Anyone using either of these let me know the sound difference from stock fans .

after 1 front 1 rear, adding more fans wont make much of a difference, around 5 deg max

Adding more fans wont make a huge difference in temps. Its neglegible. However. Adding more fans allow your system to have great airflow at lower fan speeds and making it silent. I personall have 6 Silenio FP120 and a Corsair H100i V2. These fans are silent. Decent airflow and good static pressure. Get the deepcool PWM fan splitter and download Speedfan for a silent pc. Also make sure you never connect more than 4 fans on one header. For safety. 12W of power header is general. Check mobo specs.

Good news ... my supplier has allowed me to Exchange my i5 6600k CPU and z170 board for a kaby lake 7600k and a z270 gaming pro carbon Board as I haven't used my the parts yet and they both sealed .
