1+ year would tell me it's between 1 year and about 18 months. 2.5 years is not 1+ year. Seems to me like a deliberate attempt to hide the actual age, but maybe that's just me.

Just tag the seller, so he can take note of current situation on here as well, and maybe he will come to the party, if not, open Bad Deals Thread, as its false advertising.

I'm sending him constant messages, but he couldn't be bothered. Comes online here and posts other stuff. I don't know if he is aware that you can see when he online either here or on whatsapp.
He can chime in on the bad deals thread if he doesn't play ball.

OK, so he still claims the issue was non-existent prior to the sale.
I'll take it to the supplier today.
Bad deal thread will come later.

Good morning my fellow beings,

So one day not too many moons ago, one man bought a product from another on a lovely forum that unites techies and the like together.
Upon installation and testing, thy first man notices a noise emanating from his Personal Computer.
Tired, but satisfied the man went to rest for battle the next day.
After a ferocious battle and upon returning home on his trusty steed, the man switched on his Personal Computer and still noticed the noise.
After testing and removing components, it had been asserted that it is indeed coming from the item he had bought the previous day.
Now annoyed, the man contacted the other by smoke signal to state his ordeal and received a message back to state that he will have to take his Personal Computer to something called a Supplier to have tested and if so, will have to go through a process called RMA, whereby he will be without the item for an unknown period. Very annoyed, this man responded by saying that he is not happy and would like a refund. The other gent responded that there was no such fault with the item and that I need to go via this RMA process.

In the interim the man has sourced and installed another item from many mountains away and his Personal Computer is up and running again, quietly.

Now my people, your thoughts will be gladly received.
If only all bad deals were tokd like this :D

Difference is mine is bout some serious shit and written with a sober mind.
He writes weird stuff that doesn't make sense (riddles) at odd times which makes me think some form of substance is involved

Seems you have encountered a wild cunteth... Traditionally, one would've sorted them out with poethklaph.

That's the thing. I was actually fine with it but my pc is next to me and annoying when in idle. When gaming with the headset on I don't hear Jack shit so wouldn't make a difference. That together with the warranty issue just pushed me over the edge.
GL with that certain etailer...

I have a Corsair CX550M and it also had a ticking noise, which is a result of the fan shroud. If I place the PSU fan side up the noise is gone. That wasn't an option so I just removed the fan shroud and ticking noise is gone.

You might be pleasantly surprised how quick they can RMA that bad boy. Give them a call.

so 3 pages. was the seller tagged, and was negative itrader provided ?
Purely a smack talk thread where I wanted opinions.
Will create a bad deal later where he can state his side.
If he was bothered enough, he could've responded.

So I've dropped off the psu with the supplier. It will take 2 days to assess.
So for the sake of the process, I'm going to wait until I get a response from them.
Again I was put under the impression that the assessment would be done immediately (as the seller promised), so not the suppliers fault.

Cock knows..

If I didn't buy another psu, I would've been R1k out of pocket and still no pc for two days or probably more as they don't have an equivalent replacement in stock.
