Description of Bad Deal: I contacted him to buy a laptop. After paying him, and him acknowledging receving the payment, he then said the laptop was not 100% and he didnt want to send it as is and asked if I would rather want another laptop. After negotiations, I decided to rather get a refund. He agreed and asked for the bank details for the refund.
That was the last time I got any communication from him, despite numerous messages asking him for an update and feedback about when I will be receiving the refund.
I can see he has been logging in occasionally, but continues to ignore me.
So I dont know why he has gone rogue. He did mention going to Australia for a month (apparently he left Tuesday) but thats no excuse to do the EFT. If he can log into Carbonite, he can log into the banking app.
And at least reply to my messages.
So I hope he will now explain himself as to why he has taken my money and gone silent.
Warning to anyone else thinking of doing business with him.
