Cleaning a PC?

What is your method? I currently use a Ryobi Blower but it does not get rid of the stubborn dirt created by dust in the PC.

Evetech tell me using surgical spirts in a spray bottle works best, is this safe?

Technically yes, if you use isopropyl alchohol. It vaporises at room temperature, and it non-conductive. There are several guides on the internet on how to do this as it is only safe for certain components. Secondly you have to make sure the computer is COMPLETELY dry before plugging it back into power.

Personally not something I would do, but let me know how it works out for you.

Years ago when working at an electronics factory manufacturing medical equipment, we used to wash all our populated PCBs with Isopropyl alcohol. We fully submerged it all.

Only thing that was a problem was buzzers. That is why when you buy a new buzzer, it is sealed with a sticker that reads "remove after washing".

I still clean my electronics with Isopropyl alcohol.

Actually bought an aircraft air compressor, but it didnt come with attachments, whT a good attachment and pipe for pc cleaning?

What pressure do i set it too? 2 bars enough?

I use a combination of air, make up brushes, and meth spirits.

After cleaning PC, please make sure to add more dust filters in your intakes. Can't stress this enough
