I am looking to use a Cisco WS-CAC-8700W-E Power Supply to power my GPU rigs, will it be possible with a PCI-E breakout board?

Also, are there any other Cisco Power Supplies I can use for mining that already have a compatible breakout board available?

Because most of the output is on the +42 VDC rail, and not the +12 VDC rail, it is not worth using this PSU for mining, also I have not found any breakout boards for Cisco which is a shame.

Cisco WS-CAC-8700W-E PSU output:

2800 W operation

– 25.0 A @ +3.3 VDC

– 12.0 A @ +12 VDC

– 61.29 A @ +42 VDC

4200 W operation

– 25.0 A @ +3.3 VDC

– 12.0 A @ +12 VDC

– 94.62 A @ +42 VDC

5800 W operation

– 25.0 A @ +3.3 VDC

– 12.0 A @ +12 VDC

– 132.71 A @ +42 VDC

8700 W operation

– 25.0 A @ +3.3 VDC

– 12.0 A @ +12 VDC

– 201.75 A @ +42 VDC
