Have browsed the big ISP's a bit. Looking for the cheapest 8-10mb/s solution. Uncapped preferred, but not a heavy data user. No Fibre available in my aria. Line is already installed, I think it just has to be activated? Would prefer an ISP that manages the line as well. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks

I think Telkom is R540/m for 10mb uncapped

If you're not a heavy data user, how much do you use in a month? I would always recommend a capped account above an uncapped as it isn't throttled or shaped by the ISP. Axxess hasn't given me a lot of grief.

Thanks for the tip. I would say 200gb-300gb max.

Adsl costs are all much the same. It’s a market that has aged and the prices stagnated. Fiber is annoyingly faster and cheaper :(

Your best bet for cheaper Adsl is to sign a bundle contract to try bring the price down.

I’ve looked. It’s all much of a muchness.

Try webafrica capped, I have a 10mb line with 150gb anytime and 1tb 12am-6am. Just under R600 p/m.
You're better off with a capped account like that, no throttling or anything

Dont go with the cheapest. Go with Vox. If you want them to manage the line, you need to ask current line holder (Telkom?) to transfer the line.

Best deal I have seen so far is a 8mbs uncapped account for R482 (including line rental) from Web Africa. Soft cap @ 80 gigs. Fine for me as I will be doing all my updates etc during the "free" period. Anyone know of something similar for cheaper?
