CASIO WK-240 digital keyboard for sale
Above is posted as 3800 including stand & pedal - many years old as per owner. This comes with stand + pedal - these 2 roughly cost 800 rands but brand new.

Brand new keyboard costs 4000 rands - comes with 2 years casio warranty.

I cannot think of offering max 2.5K for olx offer as there is no warranty and being a absolute beginner, I have no idea to validate if it is a good piece or not.

Am I being a low-baller here? I have sold many electronic items at 1/5th of the new but I would like an honest opinion. Be brutal. (y)

Thanks.

I reckon you keep waiting. Sounds like it's a bit old for the price. I'd definitely say at least 1K needs to knocked off, perhaps not 2.5, maybe 2.8 but not more than 3.1K that's for sure.
Instruments tend to go through less use than PC peripherals and weather the use better but it still sounds like too much is being demanded for such an uncertain deal.

Thanks. Dropped the idea of any offer for now and there are many keyboards coming up for sale all the time so will wait as suggested.

Thanks. I finally got hold of a second hand item for an earlier model - CTK 2200 - at reasonable price. Couple of people told me to go for 88-key (yamaha/roland) model right from start but they are all beyond my price range, especially at a ultra beginner stage. :D

Forget Yamaha and Roland. Go Korg first, but still quite pricey.

I would say 3500 is prob safest - 2500 is low ball IMHO.

They say excellent condition so it would depend on condition.
Heya man,

I have a old school Casio keyboard that I would like to sell, just wanted to know if I could drop you a pm and ask a couple questions 🙏

Kind regards,

Grant.
