Car rental for under 21's?

Hey guys!

I'm wanting to rent a car in Johannesburg for just under a week (7th-11th of October).

I found Avis, which is kinda affordable, however, you need to be 18 and have a driver's license for at least 12 months.
I'm 19 years old and have had my driver's license for 10 months, oof. All other companies appear to be the same.

Does anyone know any other place that I could have a chance at renting?

its really really tough I am afraid - you either pay through the arse because you are a young driver or they refuse you service.
Honestly - your best option might be to phone up a private dealer to see if they have a run around they would be willing to loan to you at a daily fee.

Try private car dealers / renters - you might have better luck there.

Why not just use Uber? Except if you are going to do a lot of km then Uber can get expensive quickly
