Was donated this printer that a family friend wasn't using due to it having white streaks in the black printing. I bought a cartridge set to test it out and indeed the white streaks are still there and seem to be in identical places between test prints (see below). I tried running the cleaning routines, but they don't seem to have helped. I've since taken it to a repair store and been advised the print-head is damaged and is an expensive fix.
The cartridge I bought has barely been used other than for the cleaning and 3-4 alignment test pages. Basically just selling this for the cartridges as the printer doesn't seem worth much at this point (you welcome to take only the cartridges). Box still has all the the original packaging. Only thing that's missing is the USB cable to connect the printer to a PC (which isn't necessary if you're on a WiFi network).
