Ah, there's the problem. This lens shines when used for videography with a decent camera body that officially supports STM lenses and dual pixel auto focusing. (a Canon 70D for example).

This is a great lens. Sharp. Smooth silent focus. Great minimum focus distance.

It's wasn't too bad. But I've got a 35mm which I use all the time. Well for wider shots.
