I recently upgraded from an AOC C27G1 to an AOC 27G2. Previously I was running the monitor on a DP cable to enable freesync on my GTX 1070. After upgrading and still running on the DP cable to have G-SYNC compatibility on my new monitor, I have been unable to access the BIOS.
If I switch from a DP to an HDMI cable, then I am able to access the BIOS. When the DP cable is plugged in, the monitor just stays black and/or displays the "no signal" message until it reaches the point where I need to enter my pin to enter windows. It's as if it bypasses the part where I need to enter delete or F2 to access the BIOS. Even if I tap these keys, it does nothing and goes straight to the part where I need to enter my pin to access windows.
I have been googling solutions with no success. All drivers and BIOS is up to date.
As stated, this problem started occuring once I plugged in my new monitor.
Any advice?
