Using AMD card, so checked for drivers and nothing new is available currently.

Checked the drive and no it isnt full :/
And the stupid thing is installed on my SSD

Not a fan of the new BR, feels like a mix between pubg/apex/csgo dangerzone.... needs work. And all the lobbies I was in were around 30 to 40ms lobbies still so wasn't too be ping wise. felt like the longer I was on the more south africans were joining after finishing their downloads, many guys were asking how do you ping areas etc. Oh well feels like the update screwed with weapons again but hey that's the joys of modern fps games where when console kiddies cry they update the game to appease them.

It just doesn't feel right in my opinion.
And shoving armor plates in my shirt on the left... all three armor plates .
Do they magically attract all bullets shot at you?

Anyone able to confirm the ping yet?

Played a few matches last night, Definitly EU Ping however, there were a lo of SA players in the Lobbies, Im sure once everyone updates or Download it should be somewhat easy to find SA lobbies if there are any, They game mode is a lot of fun.

I really like the concept of the gulag but the way it currently works is all three of you can die and go to the gulag, that should not be a thing, at least one person on the team needs to be alive, if he dies it should be game over.

You spawn with a pistol so what people have figured out now is you can cut your shoot, whip out your pistol and down someone who is still parachuting.

The loadouts thing's price needs to go way up, like 30k, because right now you loot some buildings for cash, kill like one squad and after 5 minutes you have your perfect weapons because you can buy them for 6k I think it was.

If you down someone and your teammate finishes your down they get the kill and XP, you only get an assist, also if someone who is downed leaves the game they don't drop loot.

Edit: You also can't drop a weapon so if you respawn a friend and want to drop for him you can't because fuck you that's why and if you use 1 and 2 to switch weapons, you want 1 as your AR and 2 as your sniper/shotgun etc you can't switch them so you better hope you pick them up in the right order or what you have to do is find floor loot and pick that up and cycle through that way.

I really like the concept of the gulag but the way it currently works is all three of you can die and go to the gulag, that should not be a thing, at least one person on the team needs to be alive, if he dies it should be game over.

Have you tried to scan and repair?

Yea so far have tried the following:

- Drivers had not changes since prepatch ( worked perfectly then )
- Windows updates
- Scan and repair ( comes up with no repair needed)
- I uninstalled and redownloaded the game this morning too

- Doing research found some stuff about deleting the player folder ( didnt work for me either )

Sooooo, yea i cant really find much more that seems like it would solve my issue but from what i have seen, this patch broke the game for a few people.

But yea, these are definitely not issues you should be experiencing , From what i have seen, i dont know how keen i am on the actual inventory HUD either.

There really is no inventory, you can carry a set amount of everything and switch between nades if you want and that's about it.

The thing is is I think they want it really hand holdy, everyone gets one free second chance, you can be respawned an infinite amount of times even if you lose that chance if your teammates have the money, everyone spawns with a gun and armour to greatly, almost eliminate RNG.

Me and the lads are just waiting for our loadshedding schedules to align and then we are going to play it good and hard and give it a really fair chance, if it doesn't work we go right back to Apex. Well we won't leave Apex but it's nice to have a backup for when Origin goes down again, plus I can't say no to local servers and 20ms.

Yea i can imagine the loadshedding is a huge issue.
As for local ping, with me having left, i cant explain the difference, so i can understand the excitement on local servers.

Its completely game changing, i just now wish i could get the stupid shaders installed so i can actually give this a proper bash otherwise im going to stick with Apex for longer.

Hmmm, so i messed around and did some more research,

Turns out they have actually disabled the need for Shader Cache as local GPUs are now doing it

My issue appears only in Ground War and BR, that it looses connection / Timeouts to host.
So seems like I join a long list of people having the same issue.

So i came right, had to delete the config.cfg file from my Documents for the game.

Worked instantly after that, weird...

Anyway, don't think i enjoy it all..
Especially if i compare it to the games of Apex i had this evening, like it isnt bad... but i dont know if its for me

Once loadshedding relaxes or my scheduled time isn't 20:00, exactly when game time is, I want to give it a good honest go but the ~5 games we played I felt the exact same.

There is something off with the shooting for me, it feels disconnected, I shoot, I see it, I hear it but it feels like I'm not actually hitting anything even though the person died. Like I'm shooting at cardboard cutouts taped to Roombas running around the map.

I played for an hour or so again and this time I liked it much more than the first time, I changed my audio from boost high to boost, I don't know if that had anything to do with it but it felt nicer this time.

I've played with both of the friends from Apex individually but not together and only for an hour each time, once we get all 3 of us on and we can play for a solid like 4 hours I think it might make its way into rotation on game night.

This will be my go to BR game for the foreseeable future.

Love all aspects of it, but needs some minor tweaking and solo.

Stopped playing PUBG a long time ago when most of my friends did the same.
Hate the "new" map for Apex since release and stopped playing that at the start of i think S3.
Only played ROE on and off since that too has lost most joy for me.

This game for me borrows some great ideas from other BR games, and it makes it feel fresh and new, having local games with lower ping also helps.

1 thing all BR games have are those mind numbing randoms that dont know their face from the shit they just stepped in.

Dont believe they should implement 3, 4 and 5 mand squads. Local fragmentation between the different squad games will make waiting for a match that much longer. Either stick with current 3 man of just implement 4 man.

And the 200 players per match...that's a lot of people shooting. I do find that there are more players alive after some closer to endgame, and not attributed to camping. I can always hear shooting, always action nearby.

Still need to learn how to proper drop and para-shoot.
