C&C Red Alert Remastered

The want is real

I have been playing the original a bit. I know they said they aren't remaking it, only a remaster, but I really hope they make a few very important changes like having a build queue or building waypoints.

I realised if you want 30 soldiers and 10 tanks and having to click each time each one is done building is insane, also having to move them in hordes from the building they were produced at is very tedious.

If you watch the vid you'll see there are quality of life improvements, and one of them is the build queue. Lol. Watch the vid dammit.

I am at work, I can see the posted video but the work video stops it from playing. Will do so tonight at home though.

The new QoL features are great but still holding thumbs for mod support. It's scary to think that its been 25 years. I remember playing this throughout school holidays. Back when double speed CDR drives were still relatively new and took forever to spin up and play the vids between missions.

I might get the 25th anniversary edition... Just need to win the lotto first.

As stated above. I own them all. With the add ons. Can not wait to play this. Awesome shit.

So I see pre-orders are open on steam. I play a lot of games on both Origin and Steam. Is the feeling to rather get this on Steam or Origin. A bit torn between them and not sure which would give me the better after market support (patches, updates etc.)

I do have a Origin Access Premier subscription though, which would mean both a discount and earlier access on Origin. But I do think the Steam setup is better and Steam really is tried and tested.

Opinions?

As long as it supports at least 60fps. I keep going back to Tib Wars/Kane's Wrath but the 30fps cap puts me off immediately.
