Borderlands 3 Low FPS

Hi all,

Experiencing terribly choppy gameplay in Borderlands 3. Hardware is reasonable and should be able to run the game without dips.

Frequently stutters and was wondering whether this is something common and the game is simply poorly optimised?

I've tried fiddling with the settings and haven't had much luck. Was hoping someone else could share a fix.

1. GPU / resolution / detail settings?
2. CPU & ram?
3. CPU temps?
4. GPU temps?

I played it through on a GTX1080 @ 1440p just fine (not great FPS, but dropped a level to get 60+).
