Hi guys,
Wondering if anyone has experience in swapping out the stock radio on an e46 with one of those double din touch screen android units, I've heard the Eonon ones look and work pretty well, something like this : Amazon.com: Eonon GA8150A BMW E46 Car Stereo Player, Car Radio Android 7.1 Octa-Core 2GB RAM GPS Navigation System 7 Inch Single Din Multimedia Head Unit, Support Bluetooth WiFi Connection: Electronics

Any recommendations?
Thanks
I got mine from Soundlouder. It was a costly exercise. Almost 12K. It was worth it though.

If you getting a double din then you'll need to get the climate control relocation kit from bmw. It basically allows you to move the climate controls lower.

have a look here:

Also have a look at the webite directly :

I bought a radio for my previous car from Sound Louder, it was a Eonon radio and worked well.
Never had a days trouble and sold it on after having sold the car.

Yeah the one I've been looking at doesn't seem to be branded as Eonon, but looks basically identical, I'm assuming these units all come from the same few Chinese manufacturers and are just re-branded under different companies.

Not sure to be 100% honest.
Eonon is a UK based company but that didn't mean it's not made elsewhere
