I have decided to sell my 335i as is and not to finish fixing her up.

A guy drove into me at the end of June and the car ran a little hot from a burst pipe as a result of the hit, so I started fixing her up, but at the rate I'm doing it, it will never be done.

New cooling system and pipes were just installed and the cats removed with cat foolers installed.

Engine just needs new bearings and it will be worth going for the original bearings as replacements.

I am the second owner and the smash on left door is the first and only accident.

She starts and she runs.

Make/Brand: BMW
Color: White
Year: 2009
Odometer reading: 165k +

Extras: Full Sport Pack, Sunroof, Sports Steering wheel, Sports Suspension, Sport seats, 2 keys, paddle shifters, you name it.
Location: Centurion
Delivery available: No
Price/including fees: Excluding fees
Any major accidents etc: yes, 2 left doors are damaged with the body (Chassis is in tact)

sorry to hear about this - But I have a dumb question - why not get it fixed through insurance, you have a pefectly good car there.

Insurance is and has always been Private \ Uninsured.

And yes she is a great Car.. and no please don't tell me it would have helped if I had insurance since the premiums for this car that I saved over 4 years are twice what the car is worth.

The reason I know the above for a fact and can prove it is because I just bought an X3 with those saved funds that I didn't give to an insurance company.

Bump 85k :)

Awesome car. Lots for fun for the price but when something goes wrong, better ensure you have a proper mechanic as every bolt should be torqued into place. I had one as well. Decided to sell it around 5 months back.

I had insurance on my car and was paying around R650 a month for full comprehensive and no excess. That is R39000 for 5 years. Not sure who you were previously insured with but maybe they were over charging you (Car was insured for R235000). I do have friends who also don't touch insurance but take 3rd party at least just in case.

Ummm I owned 2x335i's from new and a 2014 330D and I never paid more than 1200 for insurance from BMW insure.
My Audi 3.0 TDI I currently pay R420 approx....
People should stop with the OUTSURANCE.

Sounds like you guys have the good life, when I was 23, this was the best they could do for me as it was a "sports car" under a "high risk occasional driver" (Yes you heard right we told them its my dads car, which still didn't lower the price by much meaning I had to take a personal loan out for the last bit I needed to buy it cash and avoid the insurance), and only they would cover me, no one else could and super lol lol when I turned 25, they quoted me almost a grand more over the phone because I "never had insurance before" XD.

@Tjarra22 Eina bro, I bought a Xtrail once for my driver and the installment was 1900pm. Outsurance wanted R2200 pm told them to F off. Eventually was paying R350 or so...

That quote font looks like Mutual and Federal. GLWS I loved both my 335i's.

@Tjarra22 the image appears to show your address. Maybe remove that.

I can sympathize with you... A couple years ago when I bought my first car, no insurance company was willing to give me a quote under 3k (they considered an Audi A3 1.4T a "sports car" :ROFLMAO:), granted I was under 25 and that was the main reason. I managed to get something from Hollard for 1.2k, stuck with that for a year or two until I built up an insurance history and then things got much better when shopping for quotes:)

I too always thought insurance was a waste of money, but it's paid for itself many times over. Most recently was back smashed by an uninsured vehicle, damage was ~90k, all I lost was my 3k excess.
