I got the card and it fits perfectly with a deshrowd with no gap to spare (ideal), but only a deshrowd (doesn't fit otherwise). You can see a detailed report here.

For those interested, it seems to have the same capacitor configuration as the founders edition:

Was considering trying this, but couldn't attack that fourth screw. Nice call on the screwdriver + pliers trick.
Where did you get the GPU -> 2xPWM connector from?

You can also you a spanner. Less chance of slipping. Easier to control

A impact driver would also work. Electric type not hammer driven.

Just some feedback. This card is a beast and i'm extremely happy with mine. Max temps at 70 degrees and clocks nicely and is virtually silent.

Why pay 4k more for the same performance?
