Location? Overnight costs, and what's included? R5k for a BWB bull isn't the cheapest, to be honest, but if they're big-ass bulls it might be worth it.

Yeah this is getting bigger than I'd have thought. Guys, I'm going to cut it off here. I can't keep taking orders, I'm going to run out of space to take the bucks back to the butcher (really). So for now, orders are CLOSED. I'll update closer to the time, and if there's any left I'll sell straight on here, but for now, orders are closed. If you placed yours and I don't have you on the first page (original post), let me know and I'll put you in the list still, but for now, I think I'm at capacity.

I have a big bull over 28 inches for R6500. Average size bulls I can do R4500.
If it's for you you're welcome to stay here cost free.
I'm in Bela Bela limpopo, about 1 hour 15 minutes from PTA

It's another buck in total. Let me do some calcs and get back to you guys. My main problem is that most orders are for biltong only, and very little dry wors. That means that excess will have to be absorbed elsewhere - most probably by me. So if I keep adding just biltong, I'm going to keep adding to my bill, which I want to avoid as much as possible.

Ag hell. Only saw this now. If there is some space for biltong and droë wors let me know please.

Also, would there have been a way to get a vlakvark worked into salami if you dropped it at your butcher?

I'll have to chat to my butcher, but I'm sure salami is possible. Otherwise, there's a ton of butchers in Pretoria, and most of them will do salami/cabanossi. Just take note it's more expensive because of the work involved. It's not just cut and spice, it has to be smoked over time and and and, and that costs more money.

@Toxxyc if there is dry wors that I could help you "absorb", please let me know. I don't want to place an order necessarily, but if you do have excess dry wors, let me know and I will most likely pick up a few kgs
 
Will do. I'll be doing calcs this weekend and so on, and then I'll know a bit more about what/how everything's going to work together.

OK guys, so plans have changed a lot, but it doesn't affect the supply. I might get more opportunities going forward, and I probably will, so I'm going to take the orders already in, get the $$ together and I'll supply biltong. I do suspect price will come down on the final product, but that will depend on the size of the animals I'll be culling down the line. After that, I'll be buying and making and selling off the complete product here, as available. So keep an eye on this space.

To the guys who already ordered biltong and dry wors and everything else, would you guys be OK with paying a deposit on your orders so I can pay the bucks cash? It saves on the VAT since the farmers doesn't stick it through their accounts, and the saving is obviously passed on to you.
